Pediatric Radiology
The Radiology Department at North Central Baptist Hospital has highly trained staff, state-of-the-art equipment, including a newly installed CT Scanner, computed radiology, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and nuclear medicine. For patients requiring sedation prior to the imaging procedure, North Central has PALS certified (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) radiology nurses who are highly skilled in venipuncture and bladder catheterizations. A pediatric critical care physician will oversee the sedation and our Certified Child Life Specialist will make the process as pleasant as possible for the child and their family.
