bittersweet (adj): "Producing or expressing a mixture of pain and pleasure"*
I am excited to say that I am taking on a new role as a NICU Staff Educator within the BHS family. After 6+ years at the bedside as a NICU RN/Charge RN, it is definitely bittersweet to say goodbye. (Although, it really isn't "goodbye" so much as "see you around".)
I will miss so many things about being at the bedside, but I am also eager to help educate new NICU nurses and continue to provide opportunities for the NICU staff to learn.
I look forward to this fresh opportunity and continuing to share with all of you the latest NICU news, happenings, and events.

4th Annual NCBH NICU Reunion is here!
This year the reunion will not be a stand-alone event. The 2012 NICU Reunion will be combined with the "Viva La Vida" community event sponsored by NCBH Hospital.
There will be lots of fun activities and a great opportunity to visit with NICU families and staff. Please come and join us on Saturday, May 5th from 9am - 12pm.
